We call ourselves the Loupaldogs because Bronson, Jake and Tyler are from Louisiana [Lou] and Lek is from Nepal [pal]. Designing the carbon fiber wheel for the Louisiana Tech Eco-Car Team was our mechanical engineering senior design project. Our goals for the project were to make a working prototype for testing, to provide the Eco-Car Team with testing information and data on the application of carbon fiber for its strength as well as possible construction methods (good and bad), and most importantly to have fun!
